The catch and release program

I like fishing. Some ponds are bigger than others. Or you could go to the big league and and go deep sea fishing. Finding the right spot is important. GPS can't really help you in this case. It's a totally different kind that I talk of here. You just need to follow your instinct. Your gut feel.

Personally, I prefer to throw my line out there. Multiple if possible. The concept is that the more you throw out there, the higher the probability of a bite. Baits come in many fashion. They are not expensive. But I highly recommend that you use your bait with class and standard. Don't throw chinky made-in-china baits out there (although I have nothing against China). The point is, you need to give the fishes at least a reason on why they even need to bite your bait. Why yours? What's so special about it?
When I do get a bite, I reel them in with care, take a good look at them (take a picture if you want), and then gently release the subject back where it belongs. Most of the time, it's good to tag them so you can always count on catching them again when you hit a "dry spell" of no fishes.

Sometimes I hate it when all the line get bites. Skilled multitasking is needed. You do not ever want to reel one in and let the other one on the other side of the boat go because for all you know it, the one you are reeling in might be smaller or less interesting. So reel them in together. One at a time but maintain the right amount of acceleration for each line.

The worst case is after the release the fish and it starts jumping back into the boat. That's when I wish you luck.

Because we've all got a line...

Welcome to the BullSh*t Parables, because we've all got a line of it. We're always spouting off verbal diarrhea and nuggets of pseudo-wisdom, and this is just a place for them to land.

So.. spout away!
